Terms and conditions
The rules for renting a car from MNZ Car Rental, in plain English. Last updated 28 September 2026.
1About these terms
- 1.1These terms apply to every rental from MNZ Car Rental ("MNZ", "we", "us"). "You" means the person who books and every driver named on the rental.
- 1.2When the car is handed over you will also sign a rental agreement. If anything in that agreement differs from this page, the signed agreement applies.
- 1.3By confirming a booking with us, on WhatsApp, by phone or in person, you accept these terms.
2Who can drive
- 2.1Drivers must be at least 21 years old and have held a full driving licence for at least 1 year.
- 2.2For supercars (including Lamborghini, Ferrari, McLaren and Rolls-Royce) drivers must be at least 25.
- 2.3Only drivers named on the rental agreement may drive the car. Letting anyone else drive cancels the insurance cover and makes you liable for all loss or damage.
3Documents
- 3.1UAE residents: original Emirates ID and a valid UAE driving licence.
- 3.2Visitors: passport with a valid entry stamp or visa, a valid driving licence from your home country, and an International Driving Permit if your licence is not from a country the UAE accepts.
- 3.3We may ask for a copy of each document before delivery. We can refuse or cancel a rental if documents are missing, expired or do not match the driver.
4Booking and confirmation
- 4.1A booking is confirmed once we send you a written confirmation (usually on WhatsApp) with the car, dates, price and any deposit, and we receive any advance payment requested.
- 4.2Photos on this website show the model. The car you receive may differ in colour, trim or year.
- 4.3If your booked car becomes unavailable for reasons outside our control, we will offer a car of the same or a higher class at no extra cost, or a full refund.
5Prices and payment
- 5.1Prices are in UAE dirhams (AED). Your confirmation states whether 5% VAT is included.
- 5.2We accept cash, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay and bank transfer.
- 5.3Rental charges are paid in full before or at delivery. Weekly and monthly rates apply only when the full period is paid.
6Security deposit
- 6.1Some cars can be rented without a deposit. For others, a refundable security deposit is taken before handover. The amount is stated in your confirmation.
- 6.2The deposit can be held on a card or paid in cash.
- 6.3The deposit is returned within 21 days of the car's return. This allows time for traffic fines and Salik tolls to appear on the government systems. Any fines, tolls, damage or other charges under these terms are deducted first, and we will show you the details.
7Rental period and mileage
- 7.1The minimum rental is 24 hours. Each rental day is a 24-hour period from the delivery time.
- 7.2Daily rentals include 250 km per day. Monthly rentals include 4,500 km per month. Extra kilometres are charged at the per-km rate in your confirmation.
- 7.3Unused kilometres and unused days are not refunded. For weekly and monthly rentals, returning the car early may mean the daily rate applies to the days used.
8Delivery, collection and return
- 8.1Delivery and collection are free anywhere in Dubai, including DXB and DWC airports. Delivery to other emirates is charged; we tell you the cost when you book.
- 8.2At handover we inspect the car with you and record its condition, fuel level and mileage with photos. Please check the record before you sign.
- 8.3Return the car with the same fuel level it had at delivery. Missing fuel is charged at the pump price plus a refuelling fee.
- 8.4There is a 60-minute grace period for returns. After that, late returns may be charged by the hour, up to a full extra day. Tell us early if you need more time and we will extend the rental if the car is free.
9Salik, parking and traffic fines
- 9.1You are responsible for all Salik tolls, parking fees and traffic fines during the rental, including speed-camera fines that arrive after the car has been returned.
- 9.2Tolls and fines are charged at cost. Where the authorities require it, the fine and any black points are transferred to the driver's licence.
- 9.3If the car is impounded because of how it was driven or parked, you pay the impound fees, recovery costs and the daily rental for each day the car is held.
10Insurance, accidents and damage
- 10.1Every car has comprehensive insurance for the rental period. You are responsible for the insurance excess for each incident, as stated in your confirmation, unless you have bought our excess-waiver option.
- 10.2In the UAE a police report is required for any damage, however small. If there is an accident or damage, stop, call the police (999) and call us straight away. Without a police report the insurance does not apply, and you are responsible for the full cost of repairs and the time the car is off the road.
- 10.3Insurance does not cover damage caused by breaking these terms. That includes unnamed drivers, driving under the influence of alcohol or drugs, racing, reckless driving, off-road driving, or damage to tyres, wheels and the underside of the car through careless driving.
- 10.4You are responsible for loss of the keys, documents or accessories supplied with the car.
11Using the car
- 11.1Do not smoke or vape in the car. Do not take it off-road, onto race tracks or into the desert. Do not use it for towing, racing, teaching someone to drive, or carrying goods for payment. Do not sub-rent it.
- 11.2The car must stay inside the UAE. Driving to Oman or any other country needs our written permission and separate insurance arranged before you travel.
- 11.3Our cars may be fitted with GPS tracking for security and to recover the car if it is stolen or misused.
- 11.4If the car is returned very dirty, smells of smoke, or has sand or stains inside, a cleaning charge applies.
12Breakdowns and servicing
- 12.1Roadside assistance is available 24/7. If a warning light comes on or the car develops a fault, stop in a safe place and call us. Do not arrange repairs yourself.
- 12.2If a breakdown is not caused by misuse, we will repair the car or replace it with a similar car as soon as we can.
- 12.3For monthly rentals we arrange routine servicing. Please make the car available when a service is due.
13Changes and cancellations
- 13.1Cancel free of charge up to 24 hours before your delivery time for a full refund.
- 13.2If you cancel less than 24 hours before delivery, or are not there at the agreed time and place, we may charge one day's rental.
- 13.3We will try to accommodate date or car changes but cannot guarantee availability. Any price difference applies.
14Ending a rental early
- 14.1We can end the rental and collect the car immediately if these terms are broken, if the car is used illegally or dangerously, or if the documents provided turn out to be invalid. Rent already paid is not refunded in that case.
15Belongings and liability
- 15.1We are not responsible for items left in the car. Please check the car before you return it.
- 15.2We are not responsible for delays or losses caused by events outside our control, such as traffic, weather or government action.
16Law and changes to these terms
- 16.1These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the UAE. The Dubai courts deal with any dispute.
- 16.2We may update these terms from time to time. The version on this page when you confirm your booking applies to that booking.
